21. Parties
(1) The parties to proceedings on a case for bail are the prosecutor and the accused and, subject to subsection (2), no other person shall be a party to, or be represented at, the proceedings.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) affects the right of ¾
(a) the Attorney General to apply for leave, or be an appellant, under Part 2 of the Criminal Appeals Act 2004;
(b) the State Solicitor or the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (Commonwealth) to receive notice and be heard under section 7A(2); or
(c) an officer referred to in section 33 of the Children's Court of Western Australia Act 1988 to be present at and participate in proceedings concerning a child under that section.
