Without limiting section 31 (1) of the Interpretation Act 1918 8, where any notice or notification is required to be served on, or given or sent to, any person under this Act, the same may be posted to him as a letter addressed to him ¾
(a) at the address shown for him in the roll; or
(b) if the person has notified a postal address to the Electoral Commissioner, at that postal address.
