51. Removal of names repeated on roll

(1) Whenever in the opinion of the Electoral Commissioner the name of the same person appears more than once on the same roll, or on more than one district roll, he shall direct the Registrar to remove or may himself remove from the roll every such name except the latest enrolled name, and the Registrar shall forthwith remove such names accordingly.

(2) the Electoral Commissioner may take such action and give such directions as he considers necessary in order for the rolls to be adjusted to give effect to a division of the State into districts and regions under the Electoral Distribution Act 1947.
