(1) In this Part ¾

}referee~ means the person who for the time being holds, or is acting in, the office of the Western Australian Gas Disputes Arbitrator established by section 62 of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Act 1998.

(2) The jurisdiction of the referee is to be exercised in accordance with the regulations, and nothing in subsection (1) is to be read as applying to the exercise of that jurisdiction any provision of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Law other than ¾

(a) the provisions of Division 3 of Part 6 of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Act 1998; and

(b) any relevant provision of regulations made under section 86 of that Act.
