Warehousemen’s Liens Amendment Act 2014
An Act to amend the Warehousemen’s Liens Act 1952.
[Assented to 24 June 2014]
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:
This is the Warehousemen’s Liens Amendment Act 2014.
This Act comes into operation as follows —
(a)sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)the rest of the Act — on a day fixed by proclamation, and different days may be fixed for different provisions.
This Act amends the Warehousemen’s Liens Act 1952.
In section 7(7A) delete “in the manner prescribed”.
In section 12(g) delete “effect.” and insert:
effect other than in respect of the fees to be paid in respect of or in connection with any matter in the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court under this Act.
Delete section 13.
