Commerce Regulations Amendment (Property Licensing) Regulations 2023
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a)Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;
(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.
Part 2 — Land Valuers Licensing Regulations 1979 amended
This Part amends the Land Valuers Licensing Regulations 1979.
Delete regulation 8 and insert:
8.Degrees, diplomas and other awards prescribed (Act s. 19(c))
For the purposes of section 19(c) of the Act, the following degrees, diplomas, certificates and other awards are prescribed —
(a)a degree listed in Schedule 1A Division 1;
(b)a diploma listed in Schedule 1A Division 2;
(c)membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor;
(d)membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered General Practice Surveyor obtained before 1 January 2000;
(e)membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor.
After Schedule 1 insert:

Part 3 — Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Regulations 1979 amended
This Part amends the Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Regulations 1979.
In regulation 6(1):
(a)after paragraph (a)(iv) insert:
(iva)Bachelor of Commerce (Property Development and Valuation Extension Major);
(b)after paragraph (c) insert:
(ca)the examinations required to be passed for the conferral of a Diploma of Property (Agency Management) registered qualification CPP51122; or
