Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1  Preliminary

1.Citation

These regulations are the Mines and Petroleum Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

Part 2  Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Regulations 2007 amended

This Part amends the Mines Safety and Inspection Levy Regulations 2010.

13.Regulation 8 amended

In regulation 8 in the description of the variable “R” delete paragraphs (a) to (i) and insert:

 

(a)for a quarter that begins on or after 1 July 2020 and ends on or before 30 June 2024 — $0.17;

(b)for a quarter that begins on or after 1 July 2024 — $0.16.
