Legislation Act 2021

Legislation Amendment Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Legislation Amendment Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Legislation Regulations 2023.

4.Regulation 3 amended

(1)Delete regulation 3(e)(iii).

(2)In regulation 3(h) delete “section 20” and insert:

 

section 20, 171ZC

 

5.Regulation 5 amended

(1)Delete regulation 5(d) and insert:

 

(d)each proclamation that —

(i)is made under an Act (an application Act) that applies a law, or particular text, enacted in another jurisdiction as a law of the State; and

(ii)declares that an Act of that other jurisdiction has effect for the purposes of the application Act;

 

(2)At the end of regulation 5 insert:
