Prisons Act 1981

Prisons Amendment Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Prisons Amendment Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Prisons Regulations 1982.

4.Regulation 24 amended

In regulation 24(4):

(a)in paragraph (a) delete “item;” and insert:

 

item; or

 

(b)in paragraph (b) delete “superintendent; or” and insert:

 

superintendent.

 

(c)delete paragraph (c).

5.Regulation 25 amended

(1)In regulation 25(1)(a) delete “halt;” and insert:

 

halt; and

 

(2)Delete regulation 25(2).
