Morawa‑Koolanooka Hills Railway Act 1964
An Act to authorise the construction of a railway from Morawa to Koolanooka Hills.
This Act may be cited as the Morawa‑Koolanooka Hills Railway Act 1964 1.
This Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by proclamation 1.
In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears —
“the Agreement” means the agreement a copy of which is contained in the First Schedule to the Iron Ore (Tallering Peak) Agreement Act 1961 2, as amended by the Supplementary Agreement a copy of which is contained in the Second Schedule to that Act, and if the Agreement is further varied in accordance with its provisions includes the Agreement as so varied from time to time;
“the Company” has the same meaning as that expression has in the Agreement.
4.Authority to construct railway
Subject to the Agreement, it shall be lawful for the Company to construct and maintain a railway, with all necessary, proper and usual works and conveniences in connection with the railway, along the line described in the Schedule.

Railway Morawa to Koolanooka Hills
Description of main line of railway
Commencing at a point opposite the 273 miles 21 chains point on the Wongan Hills‑Mullewa Railway and proceeding generally in an easterly direction for approximately 11 miles 51 chains through Locations 3935, 9851, 7756, 9457, 9531, 6226, 6227, 6228 and 6305, and terminating at a point on the South‑West boundary of Mineral Claim 878 H located within Location 6309 and as more particularly set out and delineated in red on C.E. Plan 55125 deposited pursuant to section 96 of the Public Works Act 1902.
Total length of railway line approximately 11 miles 51 chains.
