Supply Act 2013

No. 3 of 2013

An Act to apply out of the Consolidated Account the sum of $7 942 million for the services and purposes of the year ending 30 June 2014.

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

 

1.Short title

This is the Supply Act 2013.

2.Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;

(b)the rest of the Act — on the day after that day.

3.Issue and application of moneys

(1)There is to be issued and may be applied out of the Consolidated Account as supply granted for the year beginning on 1 July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2014 the following sums —

(a)for recurrent services — $6 749 000 000;

(b)for capital purposes — $1 193 000 000.

(2)The Treasurer is empowered to issue and authorised to apply the moneys granted by subsection (1).

4.Sum to be available for services and purposes voted by Legislative Assembly

The sums referred to in section 3(1) are to be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor, given under the law now in force, for any services and purposes voted by the Legislative Assembly during the year beginning on 1 July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2014.
