Blood Donation (Limitation of Liability) Act 1985

Blood Donation (Limitation of Liability) Regulations 1986

1.Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Blood Donation (Limitation of Liability) Regulations 1986 1.

2.Commencement

These relations shall come into operation on 15 September 1986.

3.Prescribed period under section 9(1)(a)(i)(A)

The prescribed period under section 9(1)(a)(i)(A) of the Act is 12 hours.

4.Prescribed period under section 10(1)(d)(i)

The prescribed period under section 10(1)(d)(i) of the Act is 12 hours.

5.The form of declaration for purposes of Part III

The form of the declaration to be made by a donor for the purposes of Part III of the Act shall be the same as the form of the declaration to be made by a donor for the purposes of the Transmissible Diseases Regulations 2.
