Offensive Trades (Fees) Regulations 1976

1.Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Offensive Trades (Fees) Regulations 1976 1.

2. Application

These regulations have effect in every local government 2 district within the State.

3.Prescribed fees

The fees set out in the Table to this regulation are payable on the registration of — 

(a)the offensive trades specified in Schedule 2 of the Act; or

(b)any process or class of trade declared to be an offensive trade under section 186 of the Act.

2Under the Local Government Act 1995 Sch. 9.3 cl. 3(2) a reference to a municipality under the Local Government Act 1960 may, where the context so requires, be read as if it had been amended to include or be a reference to a local government under the Local Government Act 1995. This reference was changed under the Reprints Act 1984 s. 7(5)(a).

3On the date as at which this compilation was prepared, the Offensive Trades (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2006 r. 4 and 5 had not come into operation. They read as follows:

4.Regulation 1 replaced

Regulation 1 is repealed and the following regulation is inserted instead —

These regulations are the Health (Offensive Trades Fees) Regulations 1976.
