Industry (Advances) Regulations 1981

These regulations were repealed as a result of the repeal of the Industry (Advances) Act 1947 by the Industry and Technology Development Act 1998 s. 33(1)(b) (No. 13 of 1998) as at 1 Jul 1998 (see s. 2 and Gazette 26 Jun 1998 p. 3369).

Industry (Advances) Regulations 1981

1. Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Industry (Advances) Regulations 1981.

2. Commencement

These regulations shall come into operation on the day on which the Industry (Advances) Amendment Act 1980 comes into operation.

3. Interpretation

In these regulations — 

“the Act” means the Industry (Advances) Act 1947.

4. Decentralized locations

For the purposes of the definition of “decentralized location” in section 2 of the Act — 

(a)the distance referred to in paragraph (a) of that definition is a distance of 100 kilometres; and

(b)the areas referred to in paragraph (b) of that definition which are special regions are those areas which are within a radius of 8 kilometres of the main or only post office, as the case requires, at Mandurah, Northam, Pinjarra, Toodyay and York, respectively.

5. Certificate

The form of certificate set out in the Schedule to these regulations is prescribed for the purposes of section 3 (3) of the Act.

6. Revocation

The Industry (Advances) Act Regulation 1948* is revoked.
