Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1  Preliminary

1.Citation

These regulations are the Police Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

5.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Pawnbrokers and Second‑hand Dealers Regulations 1996.

6.Regulation 28 amended

(1)Delete regulation 28(1) and (2) and insert:

 

(1)The fee to accompany an application for the issue of either of the following is set out in item 1 of the Table to this regulation —

(a)a pawnbroker’s licence;

(b)a second-hand dealer’s licence.

 

(2)In regulation 28(4) delete “3” and insert:

7.Regulation 29 amended
