Liquor Control Act 1988

Racing and Gaming Regulations Amendment (Liquor Control) Regulations (No. 3) 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.Citation

These regulations are the Racing and Gaming Regulations Amendment (Liquor Control) Regulations (No. 3) 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

Part 2 — Liquor Control (Bayulu Restricted Area) Regulations 2013 amended

3.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Bayulu Restricted Area) Regulations 2013.

4.Regulation 9 amended

In regulation 9 delete “28 June 2024.” and insert:

 

28 June 2025.

 

Part 3 — Liquor Control (Spinifex Restricted Area) Regulations 2014 amended

5.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Spinifex Restricted Area) Regulations 2014.

6.Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3 in the definition of Spinifex Native Title Determination Area after “in” delete “the”.

7.Regulation 10 amended

In regulation 10 delete “2 July 2024.” and insert:

 

2 July 2034.

 

8.Schedule 1 replaced

Delete Schedule 1 and insert:

 

Schedule 1 — Spinifex Native Title Determination Area

[r. 3]

All those lands and waters bounded by a line —

(a)commencing at the westernmost north‑western corner of unnumbered unallocated Crown land (formerly Yowalga Location 7) as shown on Deposited Plan 220992 and extending east along the northernmost northern boundary of that location and east and south‑easterly along the boundaries of Class “A” Reserve 17614 being Lot 9 on Deposited Plan 91722 (formerly Milyuga Location 20) to the Western Australian‑South Australian Border;

(b)then southerly along that border to latitude 29.5° South;

(c)then west to the south‑eastern corner of Lot 9 on Deposited Plan 220922 (formerly Delisser Location 9);

(d)then west and north along the boundaries of that location and north along the western boundary of Lot 8 on Deposited Plan 220992 (formerly Delisser Location 8) to the south‑western corner of unnumbered unallocated Crown land (formerly Yowalga Location 7);

(e)then generally northerly along the boundaries of Lot 8 on Deposited Plan 220992 (formerly Delisser Location 8) to the commencement point.

Note for this Schedule:

The Deposited Plans referred to in this Schedule are held by the Western Australian Land Information Authority established by the Land Information Authority Act 2006.

 

Part 4 — Liquor Control (Wakathuni Restricted Area) Regulations 2019 amended

9.Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Wakathuni Restricted Area) Regulations 2019.

10.Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3 in the definition of Wakathuni Aboriginal Community delete “latitude 22.866784° S, longitude 117.832828° E.” and insert:

 

the point with the following Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 (GDA2020) coordinates —

(a)22.86676975° S;

(b)117.8328378° E.

 

11.Regulation 9 amended

In regulation 9 delete “30 June 2024.” and insert:

 

30 June 2025.
