Casino Control Act 1984

Casino Control Amendment Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Casino Control Amendment Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Casino Control Regulations 1999.

4.Regulation 18 amended

In regulation 18 in the Table delete item 11 and insert:

Failure of casino licensee to comply with a direction given under section 15(2) or (4), 21O(1), 21T(1), 22(3) or 24(1) or (2) of the Act —

(a)for an individual;

(b)for a body corporate.

5.Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1 Form 1:

(a)delete “P.O. Box 6119, East Perth, W.A. 6892; or” and insert:

 

PO Box 8349 Perth Business Centre WA 6849; or

 

(b)delete “1st Floor, Hyatt Centre, 87 Adelaide Terrace, Perth, W.A. 6000.” and insert:

 

Gordon Stephenson House, Level 2 140 William Street Perth WA 6000.
