Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.

4.Regulation 743 amended

In regulation 743(2) delete “as a statutory supervisor for the period of 3 years” and insert:

 

for the position of statutory supervisor for the period of 4 years

 

5.Various references to “3 years” amended

In the provisions listed in the Table delete “3 years” and insert:

 

4 years
