Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Act 1966

Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) Amendment By‑laws 2025

Made under section 20(1) of the Act by The Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Trust with the approval of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These by-laws are the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) Amendment By‑laws 2025.

2.Commencement

These by-laws come into operation as follows —

(a)by-laws 1 and 2 — on the day on which these by-laws are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the by-laws — on the day on which the Firearms Act 2024 section 440 comes into operation.

3.By-laws amended

These by-laws amend the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated Site) By‑laws 1986.

4.By‑law 3 amended

In by‑law 3(1) insert in alphabetical order:

 

firearm has the meaning given in the Firearms Act 2024 section 6;

 

5.By‑law 7 amended

In by‑law 7(1) in the definition of prohibited item delete paragraph (b) and insert:

 

(b)a firearm; or
