State Records Regulations 2025

1.Citation

These regulations are the State Records Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Charges for services in relation to State archives that are government records (Act s. 84)

(1)The charge for a service in relation to a State archive that is a government record must be determined in accordance with the Table to this regulation.

(2)Subregulation (1) does not apply to a government organisation, other than a Schedule 3 organisation.

Table

Item	Description of charge	Fee amount
1.	Supply of digital image, other than a map or plan referred to in item 2, as follows —
	(a)up to 25 pages	$21.25
	(b)at least 26 pages, but no more than 100 pages	$85.00
	(c)at least 101 pages, but no more than 200 pages	$170.00
	(d)more than 200 pages	The amount determined by the Director, but not less than $170.00
2.	Supply of digital image of a map or plan larger than A4 size	$35.00 (per map or plan)
