Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Amendment Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Amendment Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2025.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Regulations 2022.

4.Schedule 1 amended

(1)In Schedule 1 Division 1 item 5 delete “additional academic qualifications” and insert:

 

sufficiency of qualifications or practical legal training obtained overseas or guidance as to additional qualifications or training required

 

(2)Delete Schedule 1 Division 1 item 6.
