Tobacco Products Control Act 2006

Tobacco Products Control Amendment Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Tobacco Products Control Amendment Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website (publication day);

(b)regulation 5 — on 1 July 2025;

(c)the rest of the regulations — on the day after publication day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Tobacco Products Control Regulations 2006.

4.Regulation 30 amended

In regulation 30 in the definition of sales place delete “place means,” and insert:

5.Regulation 32 replaced

Delete regulation 32 and insert:

 

32.Labelling tobacco products

For the purposes of section 19, a package must be labelled in accordance with the Public Health (Tobacco and Other Products) Regulations 2024 (Commonwealth) Chapter 3 as in force on 13 December 2024.

 

6.Schedule 5 Form 1 amended

In Schedule 5 Form 1 delete:
