Made by the Attorney General.
This notice comes into operation as follows —
(a)clauses 1 and 2 — on the day on which this notice is published on the WA legislation website;
(b)the rest of the notice — on the day after that day.
3.Declaration of corresponding laws
For the purposes of the definition of corresponding law in section 3 of the Act, the following laws relating to the transfer of parole orders are declared to be corresponding laws for the purposes of the Act —
(a)the Crimes (Sentence Administration) Act 2005 (ACT);
(b)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 (NSW);
(c)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1981 (NT);
(d)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984 (Qld);
(e)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 (SA);
(f)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 (Tas);
(g)the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 (Vic).
The notice made under section 3 of the Act published in the Gazette on 12 October 1984 at p. 3259 is repealed.
