Rail Safety National Law (WA) (Alcohol and Drug Testing) Amendment Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Rail Safety National Law (WA) (Alcohol and Drug Testing) Amendment Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Rail Safety National Law (WA) (Alcohol and Drug Testing) Regulations 2024.

4.Regulation 9 amended

In regulation 9:

(a)in paragraph (b) delete “THC/MET.” and insert:

THC/MET;

(b)after paragraph (b) insert:

(c)the device known as the Clonal Technologies Oral Fluid Drug Test 7;

(d)the device known as the Oranoxis ToxWipe Oral 7+.
