Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978

Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Amendment Regulations 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Amendment Regulations 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Regulations 1979.

4.Regulation 6 amended

(1)In regulation 6(1):

(a)delete paragraph (a)(i) and insert:

 

(i)Bachelor of Commerce (Property Investment and Development);

 

(b)delete paragraph (a)(iii).

(2)At the end of regulation 6(1) insert:

 

Note for this subregulation:

A person conferred with a Bachelor of Commerce obtained with a double major has passed the prescribed examinations if the degree conferred includes 1 of the majors listed in paragraph (a)(i) to (v).
