Freedom of Information Amendment Regulations 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Freedom of Information Amendment Regulations 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Keystart Act 2024 Part 6 comes into operation.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Freedom of Information Regulations 1993.

4.Schedule 2 amended

In Schedule 2 in the item for Department of Housing and Works in column 2 delete “Country Housing Authority” and “Keystart Board of Directors”.
