Petroleum Products Pricing Act 1983

Petroleum Products Pricing Amendment Regulations 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Petroleum Products Pricing Amendment Regulations 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website (publication day);

(b)regulations 4, 5 and 6 — on 1 May 2026;

(c)the rest of the regulations — on the day after publication day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulations 2000.

4.Regulation 3 amended

(1)In regulation 3(1) delete “regulation 4,” and insert:

 

subregulation (3),

 

(2)After regulation 3(2) insert:

 

(3)Subregulation (1) does not apply to a place in the Territory of Christmas Island or the Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

 

5.Regulation 4 deleted

Delete regulation 4.

6.Schedule 1 amended

Delete the heading to Schedule 1 and the reference after it and insert:

 

Schedule 1 — Places where regulation 6 applies

7.Schedule 2 amended

In Schedule 2 in the items for regulations 3(1) and 6(1) delete “$1 000” and insert:

 

$4 000
