Energy Coordination Act 1994

Energy Coordination Amendment (Petroleum Legislation) Regulations 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Energy Coordination Amendment (Petroleum Legislation) Regulations 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Petroleum Legislation Amendment Act 2024 sections 3, 176 and 210 come into operation.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Energy Coordination Regulations 2004.

4.Schedule 1 amended

Delete Schedule 1 item 3(d)(iii) and insert:

 

(iii)a licensee under the Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Pipelines Act 1969 in respect of a petroleum pipeline (as defined in section 4(1) of that Act); or
