Procurement (Debarment of Suppliers) Amendment (Petroleum Legislation) Regulations 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Procurement (Debarment of Suppliers) Amendment (Petroleum Legislation) Regulations 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Petroleum Legislation Amendment Act 2024 sections 3, 176 and 210 come into operation.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Procurement (Debarment of Suppliers) Regulations 2021.

4.Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1 item 22:

(a)delete “Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act 1967 — offences under sections 29, 49, 112A(3), 117A” and insert:

 

Petroleum, Geothermal Energy and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 1967 — offences under sections 29, 49, 49A, 112A(3), 117A

 

(b)delete “Petroleum Pipelines Act 1969 —” and insert:

 

Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Pipelines Act 1969 —

 

(c)delete “Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 — offences under sections 19(1), 39, 60A, 60(1), 60(4), 60(5), 72(2), 74(1), 119(3), 124B(1)” and insert:

 

Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 — offences under sections 19(1), 19(2), 39, 39A, 60A, 60(1), 60(4), 60(5), 72(2), 74(1), 119(3), 124B(1)

 

5.Schedule 2 amended

In Schedule 2 item 10:

(a)delete “Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act 1967” and insert:

 

Petroleum, Geothermal Energy and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 1967

 

(b)delete “Petroleum Pipelines Act 1969” and insert:

 

Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Pipelines Act 1969

 

(c)delete “Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982” and insert:

 

Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Submerged Lands) Act 1982
