Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

This proclamation is the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2026.

2.Commencement

The following provisions of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 come into operation on 1 July 2026 —

(a)Part 2 —

(i)Divisions 1 to 5;

(ii)Divisions 7 to 9;

(iii)Division 10 (but only Subdivisions 1 to 3, 5 and 6);

(iv)Division 11 (other than sections 134 to 136);

(v)Division 13;

(b)Part 3 —

(i)Divisions 1 to 5;

(ii)Divisions 7 and 9;

(c)Part 6;

(d)Schedules 1 and 2.
