District Court of Western Australia Act 1969

District Court (Fees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2026

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the District Court (Fees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2026.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

(b)the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the District Court (Fees) Regulations 2002.

4.Regulation 6 amended

In regulation 6(4) delete “the form of Schedule 3 Form 2.” and insert:

 

a form approved by the Chief Judge.

 

5.Regulation 8 amended

In regulation 8(2) delete “is to be in the form of Schedule 3 Form 2 and is to” and insert:

 

must be in a form approved by the Chief Judge and must

 

6.Regulation 12 inserted

After regulation 11A insert:

 

12.Approved forms

The Chief Judge may approve forms for use under these regulations.

 

7.Schedule 3 amended

(1)Delete the reference after the heading to Schedule 3 and insert:

 

[r. 4A(1) and 5A(1)]

 

(2)Delete Schedule 3 Form 2.
